About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced management accountant whois comfortable being the business contact lead in the subsidiary and will add value through the individuals capability to collaborate relevant financial and non-financial information to aid in management decision making.
The post holder will be the first POC for day-to-day queries, assist and own delivery of the budget process, prepare the management accounts, report daily and forecast accurately on working capital, assist and own the year end audit and provide high quality information for the materials handling subsidiary in the group.
This role is based in Shrewsbury with the business being in South Petherton hence the requirement to travel to site twice fortnightly to partner with the business department leads and support with any finance related queries.
The finance team for the group is based in Shrewsbury and split between Transactional and Management accounts/Controlling functions this role sits within the management accounts team so whilst there is no need for traditional transacting, we do require someone whos willing to understand how the systems work/how transactions are processed and to be hands on.
