The Role

As a Full-stack Developer – 70% backend and 30% front-end – you will be instrumental in shaping and integrating a SaaS platform with client solutions. This project promises rapid learning and development opportunities, making it an ideal environment for mid-level professionals looking to elevate their careers.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 1-3 months, with potential for extension
  • Experience Required: Minimum five years in TypeScript, Express and Node.js
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Location: Hybrid (London) or Fully Remote
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating new API endpoints
  • Take ownership of building end-to-end features such as payment gateways
  • Develop top-notch UIs, adhering to design guidelines
  • Contribute to writing documentation and implementing tests
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers
  • Effective communication and keen attention to detail

Required Skills

  • NodeJS and Javascript (5+ years)
  • Strong Experience with Express, Redux and TypeScript (3 yrs+)
  • React (2 yrs)
  • Proficiency in Next.js (preferred), modern JavaScript APIs, SCSS, and CSS-in-JS
  • Expertise in API integration (both internal and external)
  • Good experience with AWS microservices
  • Proficiency in Git

Desirable Skills

  • Serverless architecture and microservice design
  • Automated testing
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB / Amazon DocumentDB)
  • Experience with Docker
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD)
