We are currently looking for an active, energetic Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary PRU in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys activity‑based learning and working with young people who benefit from a hands‑on, engaging approach.

The Role

• Supporting students through practical, activity‑based and outdoor learning.
• Working with pupils who display challenging behaviour; confidence and resilience are key.
• Building positive relationships and acting as a strong role model.
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Working closely with staff to create a safe, structured and supportive environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Active, sporty, or enjoys physical activity.
• Confident managing behaviour and not easily phased.
• Calm, patient and consistent.
• Experience working with young people (PRU, SEN, youth work, sports coaching, or similar desirable).
• A genuine passion for supporting students who need it most.
