- Overview of the role
The Senior Project Manager has overall ownership of the day-to-day running of production projects, leading internal and external client interactions from a production perspective, ensuring smooth delivery, and providing direction and resolution for any operational challenges across the wide breadth of production jobs.
The Senior Project Manager will be required to maintain existing relationships by developing a good understanding of their client’s business, key drivers in their sector and become established as a trusted partner and providing value-added services.
This person will own operations, procurement, production, and execution of the client’s jobs and/or projects and have direct accountability for the current client spend.

As a Senior Project Manager, you won’t just manage timelines—you will champion the delivery of high‑visibility, premium installations that define brand experiences worldwide.
By navigating complex global logistics and airport compliance with ease, you protect our clients' investments, while simultaneously acting as a mentor and strategic anchor for our tight‑knit team of 7 project managers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate procurement, production, shipping, and billing for the client’s jobs and projects, working in close collaboration with the Account Director.
Serve as a key link between the client, production teams, and suppliers to ensure all contractual obligations and engagement terms are delivered flawlessly.
- Actively contribute to account plans and strategic client presentations (QBRs etc)
- Manage the performance of a small team of (may be one) Project Manager who are also assigned to the client.
Deal with any escalation points and ensure that the Project Manager(s) are able to provide excellent service.
- Ensure that all reporting requirements for the client and internally are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Build successful partnerships with the Senior client business leads and key decision makers to increase and expand revenue opportunities by identifying production solutions and evaluating current spend.
- Proactively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive down costs and deliver process efficiencies for the client.
Continually improve margin and profitability on all jobs.
- Prepare and own the status of all client jobs and/or projects, confirm that all jobs are delivered on‑time, and expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Monitor and take actions to ensure the highest possible levels of accuracy on the accounts.
- Collect, review, and organise job requirements and provide strategic guidance to the production team to optimise bidding and production processes.
- Manage all aspects of production with vendors on behalf of the client, conferring with vendors concerning delivery timetables and maintaining the status of assigned projects at all times.
- Ensure contract obligations are being met by both Altavia and the client.
- Consistently exceed client expectations and ensure the production team is providing superior customer service.
- Travel to other company, customer and supplier sites on a regular basis may be required as well as some international travel.
- The Senior Project Manager will also be required to undertake other responsibilities and projects as required.
Requirements
- Hands‑on production management experience, within a manufacturing, client, or agency environment.
- Solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills; able to find creative ways to make challenging requests work or develop effective alternative solutions.
- Experience with Retail and Point of Sale Manufacture
- Direct client interfacing experience.
- Experience working with suppliers and vendors to negotiate job costs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior level professionals.
- Highly proficient with Google Suite of apps and adaptable to learn software such as Monday. com and internal CRM software.
