Responsible for day-to-day interactions with the client(s), the Project Manager will be required to maintain existing relationships by developing a good understanding of their client’s business, key drivers in their sector and become established as a trusted partner and providing value-added services.
This person will oversee operations, procurement, production, and execution of the client’s jobs and/or projects and have accountability for the client spend.

This role makes a difference by managing projects smoothly from start to finish, ensuring high-quality production and installation of retail displays across global airports.
By keeping everything on track and working closely with teams, clients, and suppliers, this role helps create standout brand experiences and supports the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate procurement, production, shipping, and billing for the client’s jobs and projects; be a vital link between the client, production, and suppliers to ensure all terms of the contract and engagement are delivered flawlessly.
- Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers to increase and expand revenue opportunities by identifying production solutions and evaluating current spend.
- Proactively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive down costs and deliver process efficiencies for the client.
Continually improve margin and profitability on all jobs.
- Prepare and oversee the status of all client jobs and/or projects, confirm that all jobs are delivered on-time, and expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Collect, review, and organize job requirements and provide strategic guidance to the production team to optimize bidding and production processes.
- Manage all aspects of production with vendors on behalf of the client, conferring with vendors concerning delivery timetables and always maintaining the status of assigned projects.
- Ensure contract obligations are being met by both Altavia and the client.
- Consistently exceed client expectations and ensure the production team is providing superior customer service.
- Management of your own housekeeping including general office administration e. g., filing, diary management, database maintenance, preparation of agendas and minutes of meetings.
- Responsible for using our procurement system management (AWS).
- Travel to other company, customer and supplier sites on a regular basis may be required as well as some international travel.
- The Project Manager will also be required to undertake other responsibilities and projects as required.
Requirements
- Hands-on production management experience, within a manufacturing, client, or agency environment.
- Experience with print management AND/OR point of sale.
- Direct client interfacing experience.
- Experience working with suppliers and vendors to negotiate job costs and schedules.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, prioritisation and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and oversee operational functions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior level professionals.
- Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel and Google suite.
- Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.
- Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.
