I'm working with a leading FMCG business that's looking to bring in a Sustainable Packaging Expert to help them develop and deliver innovative, future-ready packaging solutions. The Role
- Research and present emerging packaging formats, materials, and sustainable technologies aligned with market trends.
- Translate creative briefs into viable, production-ready concepts that meet brand identity, functional performance, and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate packaging for functionality, manufacturability, and environmental impact.
- Drive sustainable initiatives such as recyclable materials, PCR, refillable systems, and mono-material solutions.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec.
- Maintain accurate packaging documentation and specifications.
The Person
- Minimum 2 years' experience in packaging technology within an FMCG environment.
- Strong technical and creative skills with the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
- Experience working on-site in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
