Altair Consultancy and Advisory Services Ltd are seeking an experienced Associate Consultant to support our Corporate Finance, Treasury & Viability team on an ad hoc basis.
About the Role
This role is suited to a highly experienced social housing finance professional who can provide strategic advice and technical expertise on a flexible consultancy basis. Working alongside our team, you will lead and support client assignments involving long-term financial planning, treasury strategy, financial viability, and corporate finance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support the delivery of complex consultancy projects within the Corporate Finance, Treasury & Viability practice.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Boards, Executive Teams and senior client stakeholders.
- Develop, review and challenge Long-Term Financial Plans (LTFPs) using Brixx and Excel.
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis, treasury and viability assessments.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations and recommendations for senior audiences.
- Support project planning and delivery to ensure assignments are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Contribute specialist knowledge to business development activities, proposals and thought leadership initiatives where required.
About You
You will be a recognised expert within social housing finance and be able to demonstrate:
- Membership of a professional accountancy body (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
- Significant experience within social housing finance, treasury, corporate finance, consultancy, advisory or funding.
- Strong expertise in Long-Term Financial Planning in the social housing sector, including advanced use of Brixx and Excel.
- Experience presenting financial strategies, business plans and complex analysis to Boards and Executive Teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality consultancy or advisory services.
- Experience supporting treasury strategy and funding activities.
- Knowledge of regulatory and financial challenges facing the social housing sector.
