Our client in Irvine, CA is looking for a Project / Validation Coordinator. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Validation Coordinator to support the development and execution of validation activities for vehicle programs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient testing operations through meticulous tracking of parts, assets, and consumables. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and collaboration with various teams, including Vehicle Hardware Engineering (VHE), Technical Program Management (TPM), and New Product Introduction (NPI), as well as suppliers and external test labs. The Validation Coordinator will manage logistical aspects of testing programs, maintain essential workspaces and equipment, serve as a key liaison with test labs, and drive action items resulting from meeting decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaison between VHE, TPM and NPI for testing parts/assets tracking.
- Track spare part consumables and report out inventory status.
- Manage logistics of fixtures and parts between Our Client and external test labs.
- Manage design review agenda and publish meeting minutes. Drive accountability and follow-up on action items.
- Track and report out Invoice updates.
- Maintain Body Work Space and drive process improvement in tool & equipment use tracking.
- Manage scheduling, calibration, and repair of Data acquisition equipment.
What You Will Need:
Basics:
- 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity preferably in an engineering test team.
- Bachelor\’s Degree.
- Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.
- Proficiency with conferencing systems (our Client is Zoom-based).
- Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.
