Your future role

We are looking for a Train Aesthetics and Presentation Manager to manage the train presentation supplier contract across all of our network taking responsibility for the cleanliness and aesthetics of the Class 345 fleet. You will form strong relationships with key stakeholders of Train Operators to ensure that we understand the needs of the customer and frontline teams and we jointly deliver that in partnership. Collaborative working with Alstom and third party Train presentation contractors will be required to deliver the high expectations of our customers.

Work closely with the Operations, Engineering and Projects teams (including Quality, Fleet Control & EHS) to make sure those needs are delivered and help to develop the wider Customer Strategy within Alstom.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Interfacing closely with key customers
  • Building relationships with key suppliers
  • Help customers with sustainability strategies
  • Alstom single point of contact for all Customer facing issues e.g. Cleaning/Train presentation matters
  • Develop and carry out a programme of Customer/Supplier Audits to ensure the highest standards are maintained
  • Interact with other Alstom Departments
  • Work collaboratively to develop a CEx strategy
  • Management of Cleaning Service Provider on daily basis via Performance KPI’s
  • Leading monthly contract reviews with Cleaning Service Providers
  • Working with customers to ensure that defect reporting is as effective as possible
  • Building close partnerships with the Train Operator and customer via performance reviews, and actively seeking feedback and delivering on that feedback
  • Compiling and presenting period performance reports

  • Experience of working in/with a Train Operator in a CEx/Train presentation environment but will consider candidates from other industries

  • A credible team player with a proven track record of working with internal teams, contractors and customers
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, e-mail and intranet
