The successful candidate will act as a strategic business partner to the Site Managing Director and wider leadership team, providing financial insight, guidance and challenge to support decision-making and long-term value creation. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Control
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
- Supporting strategic objectives through effective financial management and business partnering.
- Monitoring and forecasting key financial and operational performance indicators.
- Challenging financial assumptions, risk assessments and variance analyses to enable informed decision-making.
- Supporting investment decisions, restructuring initiatives, capacity expansion and continuous improvement programmes through robust financial analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with Alstom financial policies, reporting standards and internal control requirements.
Reporting & Coordination
- Collecting, consolidating and analysing financial information to provide accurate performance reporting and forecasting.
- Ensuring financial processes comply with internal controls, external regulations and company standards.
- Working closely with regional controllers and the Country Finance Director to report results, share insights and drive corrective actions where required.
Leadership & Team Management
- Leading and developing the site controlling team.
- Coordinating planning, budgeting and target-setting activities.
- Ensuring the delivery of accurate financial data, budgets and resource plans.
Success in the role will be measured through:
