Your future role:
- Apply your management expertise to deliver safe and reliable maintenance services for the fleet of Alstom Avelia Stream trains, delivering train services from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.
- You will report to the Project Director Commuter Fleets and work alongside a dedicated and passionate Services team in Alstom UK&I, and be part of the Services Execution UK function management team.
- You will lead the maintenance team and be the primary interface to our customers.
We’ll look to you for:
- Lead the team to deliver safe and reliable maintenance services in accordance with our contractual obligations.
- Deliver fleet performance which meets and exceeds our contractual commitments.
- Be responsible for the P&L of the project, and grow the business year on year through variations and opportunities.
- Lead on all EHS activities at the depot.
- Build a solid relationship both with the customer.
- Provide leadership and direction to the personnel within the maintenance operation including managing individual Performance & Development, Succession Planning using the appropriate Alstom tools (ALPS/APSYS).
- Liaise with key internal functions of Procurement, Supply Chain, EHS, Quality, Legal, Finance to aid in the delivery of the contract, and meeting all Alstom’s internal procedures.
- Deliver maintenance KPIs for the project, in accordance with the UK standards, and report these at relevant governance meetings.
