Your future role
The IS&T Co-ordinator acts as a key liaison between the UK&I business and the IS&T organisation. The role focuses on identifying technology-driven improvements, promoting cyber security awareness, and fostering innovation through initiatives such as the UK&I Innovation Hub and AI engagement. It supports industrial IT and lab efficiency projects, assists with local infrastructure upgrades, and ensures effective project delivery. Additionally, the role will focus on user feedback initiatives, including CSAT surveys, and promotes solution adoption to enhance digital services across the UK&I business.
We’ll look to you for:
- Business Interface: Act as the business/technical interface between the site/business and the IS&T organisation to assist in identifying new requirements/continual improvement.
- Information Security: Promote cyber awareness across UK&I cluster, cascading central initiatives and re-enforcing/communicating awareness within the local business.
- Innovation: Work with local and central teams to support delivery of approved innovation use cases. Engage with AI teams to understand the 'art of the possible'.
- Industrial IT/Lab: Assist in securing and driving efficiency for Train Labs and support delivery of Industrial IT initiatives.
- Project Support: Support local projects (file server migrations, infrastructure upgrades), follow project management processes, and assist in delivering projects to quality, cost, time requirements.
- Feedback and Improvement: Support the IS&T UK CSAT survey to ensure maximum participation and support, consolidate user feedback and escalate relevant issues within Digital Services teams to improve operational efficiency and promote solution adoption.
