Location: London, LND, GB; Old Oak Common Depot – London with travel to other depots.

Appointment Basis: Permanent

Salary + Benefits: Circa £65,000 plus bonus.

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Trainer Assessor to assist the Training and Competence Manager in ensuring that staff working on the Aventra platform and other relevant projects are technically trained and demonstrably competent to carry out their tasks and responsibilities in line with current legislation and industry standards.

We’ll look to you for:

  • To lead on the development of technical onboard systems, software development, and fault finding.
  • Carry out diagnostics training (E-learning packages, theoretical classroom training, practical on-site delivery).
  • Support in the ongoing development of upskilling competence in basic and advanced systems knowledge.
  • Develop and deliver blended learning solutions to support advanced technical development in onboard train systems e.g. ETCS/CBTC, PIS, AWS/TPWS, Propulsion, TCMS etc.
  • Develop and deliver blended learning solutions to support capability development in technical learning e.g. Doors, Brakes, Couplers, Toilets, HVAC, PIS etc.
