Your future role
Reporting into the Head of Facilities Management, you’ll work alongside highly motivated professionals within the Alstom Team committed to best in class performance. You will lead our Integrated Facilities Management partner across several sites. You will also need to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate best in class performance for Planned, Reactive and projects in a complex environment.
You will be fully responsible for safety, statutory compliance, critical plant availability and reliability and the associated budgets. You will fully understand and work to current Health & Safety requirements, ensuring the safety of all staff, together with adhering to our environmental standards and policies, and fostering our values of agility, inclusivity and responsibility.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring the sites maintenance activities delivered by our IFM partner (CBRE) are completed on time.
- Reactive tasks are assessed, prioritised are repaired to maintain operational capability.
- Leading stakeholder engagement on all facilities matters, with particular regards to the safety of Alstom staff, Customers and their guests and contractors.
- Form part of the senior management team for each of the sites you will cover, ensuring Alstom safety policies and processes are followed by carrying safety conversations, audits and planned general inspections in relation to lost time accidents.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory compliance and maintain compliance to ISO standards 9001, 14001, 45001.
- Ensure records for all plant and equipment are regularly updated by the IFM provider and assessed for accuracy routinely.
- Fully budget for both OPEX and CAPEX expenditure, ensuring capital risk is highlighted within a risk matrix and supporting action plan to support long term strategic planning.
- Develop CDM project scopes for stakeholders, to ensure tenders can be held, were budget and time are fully resourced.
