Join the team responsible for the development of future trains in the UK and abroad.
We are looking for an experienced engineering leader who is an expert in mechanical integration and/or system engineering as applied to whole train, vehicle, installation, assemblyand detail level.
We’ll look to you for
- Management and technical leadership ofdesignand sub-systemengineersresponsible forvehicle interiordesign, integrationandmechanicalsub-systems.
- Manageteamworkload planning, resource allocation, and forecasting to secure QCD commitments, includingtimelyescalation of capacity, skills, or delivery risks.
- Regular reporting to management and alert in case of issueimpactingthe team performance
- Continuous improvement of the team performance for project/program activities, on-timeand rightfirst-timedelivery
- Compliance to Engineering processes & instructions
- Deploying problem solving methodologies with necessary interfaces with other stakeholders
- Supporting the team in the resolution of issues and challenging actions
- Continuous improvement or Return on Experience management frompreviousprojects
- People Management and Competency Development
- Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration within the UK organisation and the globalmechanicalintegrationand sub-systemnetwork.
