Your future role
As Software Verification & Test Leader, you will be responsible for validation and verification of all Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS) sub-systems (including the Train Control Management System (TCMS) and Passenger Announcement, Communication & Information Systems (PACIS)) and components (Software, System Architecture) in line with make or buy strategy of each project.
As we expand the existing team, when required, you will also be involved with software development & associated software deliverables of the aforementioned systems, as deemed appropriate by the Domain Leader: You will perform Software Development activities, integration of the software modules and generation of software for assigned projects.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring 100% compliance with EHS rules for activities performed on train and test bench
- Managing TC&IS validation and verification tools configuration
- Delivering TC&IS test procedures and test reports
- Managing configuration of Verification & Test deliverables, ensuring 100% are properly stored in the configuration database
- Maintaining up-to-date validation status of change requests (CR) in the CR database
- Managing CRs, ensuring all not OK results in test reports are linked to a CR.
- Delivering TC&IS Integration & Validation Plan (activities, means, strategy)
- Delivering TC&IS Verification Plan (activities, means, strategy)
- Providing planning for Verification & Test activities
- Reporting weekly on requirements testing coverage and results
- Delivering weekly synthesis on Verification & Test activities
- Specifying tools required for Verification & Test activities (PCs, test benches, etc.)
- Managing the TC&IS Verification & Test Work Package
- Support producing Control Build Software Model in compliance with TCMS Software Requirements Specification (SwRS), Software Design Specification (SwDS), and Interface Control Document, considering Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) constraints and product Safety Related Application Conditions (SRAC)
- Support developing software/modules for TCMS equipment while maximising reuse of standard configurable software components

- Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains).
- Knowledge of real time network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS 485 etc
- Managing work packages for sub-contractors
- Design For Quality (DFQ) cycle
- Fluent English
- ISTQB Test Manager Certificate would be beneficial
