About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth and strengthen our partner ecosystem across Salesforce and AWS. Your primary mission will be to develop trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and strategic partners, helping organisations realise greater value from their digital transformation investments while identifying opportunities to expand our services and solutions. You will own a portfolio of key accounts, working closely with customers, Salesforce, AWS and internal teams to create growth opportunities and deliver outstanding business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management - Developing and executing account growth plans across a portfolio of strategic customers.
- Relationship Development - Building trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, becoming a valued advisor to customers and partners.
- Partner Engagement - Building strong relationships with Salesforce and AWS account teams to identify opportunities, develop joint propositions and increase market visibility.
- Revenue Growth - Identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities for additional services, projects and managed services within existing and new accounts.
- Business Development - Working alongside marketing, alliances and delivery teams to generate and convert new opportunities.
- Executive Engagement - Leading commercial discussions, contract negotiations and account reviews with customer leadership teams.
- Sector Expertise - Developing a deep understanding of customer sectors including social housing, travel, education, healthcare, local government and public sector to identify opportunities and provide strategic insight.
- Forecasting and Planning - Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts, account plans and revenue projections to support business growth objectives.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Director, Strategic Account Manager, Client Director or Business Development role within a technology consultancy, systems integrator or cloud services organisation.
- A demonstrable record of growing strategic customer accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, including C-suite and director-level contacts.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and account planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
- A proactive, consultative and solution-oriented approach to business development.

- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities and developing long-term account strategies that create value for customers and Alscient alike.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working within or selling into social housing, education, healthcare, local government or wider public sector organisations.
- Experience working closely with Salesforce and/or AWS partner ecosystems.
- Understanding of Salesforce multi-cloud solutions and/or AWS cloud services.
- Experience developing business cases, proposals and strategic growth plans.
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks and buying processes within public sector organisations.
