ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their team at ALS Trowbridge. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques and support our sample receipt department on weekends. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures.

About The Position

  • Days Per Week: Tuesday - Saturday 12:30 pm - 9 pm
  • Contract: Full Time and Permanent
  • Annual Salary: £25,834 per annum

The day to day

  • To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
  • To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • To keep accurate records.

  • Previous experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Possess excellent time management skills.
