The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for 2 Laboratory Technician\’s to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures. Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!

Days Per Week: 4 on/4 off, 9am to 9pm
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,834 + £2000 location allowance per annum

The day to day
- To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
- Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
- Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
- To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
- To keep accurate records.
The Essentials
- Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Keen eye for detail
- Possess excellent time management skills.
