The Role
Are you passionate about science and eager to make a real impact in the world of testing? We\’re looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team! In this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of our laboratory operations, working with cutting-edge techniques to analyse food and environmental samples. From preparing and plating samples to pouring and incubating using aseptic methods, your work will support vital testing processes and help maintain high-quality standards.
About the role:
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 14:30 – 23:00
- Contract: Full Time and Permanent
- Annual Salary: £25,834
The day to day
- To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
- Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
- Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
- To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
- To keep accurate records.

- Experience in a high throughput working environment
- Good IT skills
