This is an office based/hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of ALS’s climate change targets and roadmap, aligned with the GHG Protocol, SBTi, relevant industry standards, and ALS’s broader sustainability strategy.
  • Collaborate with business streams and regional stakeholders to help develop business stream and regional climate transition plans in line with Group climate strategy and wider corporate goals.
  • Contribute to climate-related disclosures required for ALS’s ASRS reporting and other corporate sustainability reporting purposes, including transition planning updates and progress against targets.
  • Support the wider development and implementation of ALS’s climate change strategy, working closely with business stream teams and functional support areas.
  • This will include monitoring and incorporating requirements from clients, investors, ESG rating agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Prepare clear updates, analysis, and reporting materials for senior leaders and internal stakeholders on climate-related priorities, progress, and risks/opportunities.
  • Monitor evolving climate-related standards, frameworks, and disclosure expectations, and contribute to continuous improvement in ALS’s climate strategy, reporting, and governance processes.

Eligibility

To be eligible to work at ALS you must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain a valid working visa.
