The Procurement Administration Assistant role involves providing efficient administrative support to the procurement team, managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and handling day-to-day procurement queries. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:00)

Contract: Full Time & Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

The day to day:

  • Raise purchase orders using SAGE for various departments and ensure timely communication with suppliers and end users.
  • Monitor and manage procurement requests and queries via the Procurement helpdesk and inbox throughout the day.
  • Handle standing order and car hire requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and suppliers regarding purchasing needs and resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Manage online sales of warehouse items via eBay and support financial processes by updating invoice discrepancy logs and investigating pricing issues.
  • Place approved orders using the company credit card and reconcile monthly credit card statements, along with general administrative support as required.
