You are a qualified Accountant from the Insurance industry who thrives on variety, enjoys being close to the numbers and the strategy, and likes working in a genuinely collaborative environment. I’m working with a leading Lloyd’s of London Insurance Broker that is currently growing and looking for a Senior Finance Accountant to join their team.
It’s a broad, hands-on role where you’ll be supporting the CFO and Assistant Director to keep the Group’s finances sharp, accurate, and compliant – while also contributing to key decisions and improvements across the function. You’ll get involved in everything from management accounts and reconciliations through to budgeting, tax, and regulatory returns.
- Monthly management accounts and income reporting
- VAT returns, corporate tax calculations, and regulatory submissions (RMAR, Resilience reports etc.)
- Supporting the year-end and interim financial statements
- Fixed asset and nominal ledger maintenance
- Reviewing client money reconciliations (CASS 5 experience would be a bonus)
- FX trading activity and surplus fund investments
You’ll be fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a couple of years post-qual experience. You’ll enjoy a bit of pressure (the good kind) and like being part of a team that backs each other, taking real pride in producing clean, accurate, and high-quality work and working in a culture that rewards hard work.
Salary around £75k+ depending on experience (please let me know if you are looking for more than this as there is flexibility). Bonus potential is genuinely strong – not just a token gesture. Hybrid working – 3 days a week in their London office. Happy to have a confidential chat.
