How much of the DCA lifecycle do you actually get to own?
If you work in Delegated Claims, you probably already know your way around DCA oversight, claims bordereaux, audits and all the governance that sits behind it.
But how much of the whole picture do you get to see?
I'm recruiting for a brand new Senior Delegated Claims role that brings quite a lot of it together.
You'll be involved from the point a DCA is onboarded, through ongoing oversight and performance monitoring, to coordinating audits, reviewing findings and making sure actions are actually followed through.
There's a hands-on bordereaux element too, but it's not simply about uploading the data.
It's about looking at what that data is telling you.
Are complaints starting to tell a story?
Are there trends that Claims or Underwriting need to know about?
Is the quality of the data where it should be?
You'll have oversight across around 30 DCAs, covering Property, Casualty, A&H and specialist business, working closely with Claims, Underwriting, Compliance and Operations.
But what I particularly like about this role is the opportunity to make it your own.
The DCA oversight is currently managed within Claims and this is a newly created dedicated position.
For someone with the right experience, there's genuine scope to take ownership and help shape how the function develops.
You might already be part of a larger Delegated Claims team and be ready for more ownership.
Or you may already be doing much of this and simply be ready for a more senior role with broader responsibility.
I'm looking for someone with established delegated claims authority oversight experience within the London/Lloyd's Market .
Salary will depend on experience and I'm happy to discuss that privately.
And you absolutely don't have to be actively looking.
Sometimes the most interesting conversations I have are with people who weren't looking at all until the right role caught their attention.
