I’m currently working with a fantastic freight forwarder based in Feltham who are looking to bring in an Import Clerk – a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career looking to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
This role would suit a second jobber with some exposure to imports who’s looking to build their knowledge and take ownership of shipments from start to finish.
The Role:
- Managing import shipments from start to finish (mainly air freight)
- Liaising with overseas agents, airlines, and hauliers
- Handling customs entries and ensuring compliance
- Monitoring shipments and resolving any delays or issues
- Providing clear and professional updates to customers
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time
