Experience: 1–2 Years Minimum (UK-EU Road Freight Essential)
Are you a Road Freight professional who is tired of hand-offs and departmental silos? We are looking for a start-to-finish Coordinator to join our Leeds operations. We value true forwarders—people who want the autonomy to manage a shipment from the moment the collection is booked until the final POD is received. Whether it's an import from Italy or an export to Germany, you will be the lead architect of the move.
The Day-to-Day:
- End-to-End Management: Handle the full lifecycle of European Road movements (Groupage, LTL, and FTL).
- Carrier Sourcing: Negotiate with UK and European haulage partners to secure the best equipment, routes, and rates.
- Border Readiness: Manage all Post-Brexit requirements, including CMRs, T-Forms, and Customs Declarations (Import/Export) to ensure zero delays at the port.
- Client Advisory: Act as the dedicated "go-to" for your accounts—providing instant quotes, real-time tracking, and proactive problem-solving.
- Financial Control: Own your file's P&L—accurate cost accruals, margin management, and prompt sales invoicing.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven Track Record: 1–2 years (minimum) in a Road Freight Forwarding environment.
- Technical DNA: A solid grasp of Incoterms, transit times, and current UK-EU customs procedures.
- Adaptability: The ability to pivot between imports and exports in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional Discretion: We understand the Leeds/West Yorkshire logistics market is a small world. Every application is handled with 100% confidentiality.
Why Make the Move?
- Total Ownership: You manage the full A–Z lifecycle. No departmental hand-offs.
- Leeds Logistics Hub: Work in a key regional office with a supportive, expert team.
