We are recruiting for an Air Export Operator to join a growing team. This is a start-to-finish export airfreight role, working closely with UK customers and overseas offices. You will be responsible for managing export consignments from order receipt through to final documentation and billing, ensuring a high level of service, accuracy, and compliance at all times. This role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, detail-focused, and keen to add real value to an already experienced and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling export airfreight consignments from start to finish
- Arranging and monitoring UK export collections
- Creating and issuing AWBs and associated export documentation
- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
- Updating and verifying bookings
- Liaising with operations teams and overseas offices to meet customer commitments
- Proactively resolving issues as they arise
- Ensuring consignments are correctly rated for accurate and timely invoicing
- Supporting KPI reporting and internal/external reports where required
- Assisting with credit management queries when necessary
- General day-to-day administrative duties within the air export function
