We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join a growing team within a well-established global logistics business. This company has had a European presence for over 50 years and is currently in their next phase of expansion.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Driving high-value new business opportunities in line with strategic growth targets
  • Building, developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key decision-makers
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activity and industry changes
  • Identifying, assessing and reporting opportunities for expansion through new customers, new routes and new service offerings

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience selling Road, Air or Sea Freight at a senior level
  • A strong commercial mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
  • The ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with strong leadership capability
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, face-to-face and via telephone
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer solutions
