Responsibilities
- Responsible for completion of ocean/air/european road freight import and export from start to finish
- Organising the collection process through designated transportation firms
- Liaising closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts
- Managing Customs entries
- Monitoring shipments until their ultimate delivery
- Managing job costing and invoicing responsibilities
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company
- Experience in ocean and/or air and/or road freight shipments
- Proficient knowledge of customs clearance procedures
- Hands-on experience with freight-related software like Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
- Exceptional customer service abilities
