We're recruiting for a well-established logistics business that’s looking for a skilled International Transport Planner to take control of a fleet of around 45 vehicles, coordinating full and part loads to/from and across the continent. This is a challenging and rewarding role where your planning expertise, regulatory knowledge, and cool head will be highly valued.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning and coordinating full and part load transport across Europe
- Managing a fleet of circa 45 vehicles and ensuring maximum efficiency
- Liaising daily with drivers, clients, and European partners
- Ensuring full compliance with customs requirements, ADR, and EU road regulations
- Monitoring driver hours, tachographs, and rest breaks in line with legislation
- Troubleshooting issues quickly and keeping communication clear and proactive
- Working closely with internal teams including customer service and compliance
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in international transport planning (full & part loads)
- Solid understanding of customs procedures, ADR regulations, and EU transport laws
- Knowledge of driver hours, WTD, and cabotage rules
- Strong geographical knowledge of Europe and cross-border operations
- Confident communicator who stays calm under pressure
- Highly organised with a problem-solving mindset
