About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Export Operator to manage and oversee export shipments to the US. The ideal candidate will liaise with shippers, hauliers, warehouses, and airlines to ensure a seamless export process. This role requires strong coordination skills and knowledge of export procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with US shippers to confirm shipment readiness.
- Arrange collections with US hauliers and track progress via phone and web portal.
- Ensure freight is received at US warehouses and request shipment details when needed.
- Make bookings with Shipping Lines and follow up to confirm cargo departure.
- Handle AES filing for export and prepare export documentation.
- Provide quotes for export shipments to the US.
- Ensure accurate billing as per customer rates or quotes.
