Export Specialist

I’m working with a well-established, family-owned freight forwarder in Felixstowe that is looking to add an Export Specialist – Road Freight to their team. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for stability, career growth, and the chance to take real ownership of the export process.

The Role

In this position, you’ll be responsible for managing road freight exports from booking right through to final delivery. That includes handling customs clearance, preparing export documentation, arranging transport with hauliers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Handling customs clearance and documentation (ENS, Transit docs, CNS, Destin8, MultiFreight)
• Liaising with hauliers and arranging transport
• Invoicing customers accurately and efficiently

What They’re Looking For

• Experience in road freight export operations
• Solid customs knowledge, including clearance and compliance
• Familiarity with systems such as Destin8, CNS, and MultiFreight
• Someone proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in problem-solving under pressure
