On the lookout for an experienced Customs Clerk to join our industry leading client in Coventry. This role involves handling Multimodal Customs Clearance from start to finish, covering Air, Sea, and Road freight. The ideal candidate will ensure all shipments comply with UK and international customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process import and export customs declarations for Air, Sea, and Road freight.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and customs requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies.
  • Manage customs documentation and duty/VAT calculations.
  • Stay up to date with CDS, CHIEF, and industry regulations.
  • Provide customer updates and resolve customs-related queries.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Customs Clerk in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of multimodal freight (air, sea, and road).
  • Proficiency with customs systems, in particular E-Customs and Cargowise.
