A leading freight company are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within our freight division. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue across domestic and international freight services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain solutions, and the competitive landscape of freight forwarding.

Must have previous experience in Freight OR Logistics.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 0800hrs - 1600hrs. Remote/Hybrid working available.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 plus commission & company car.

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private healthcare.

  • Generate new business in line with agreed financial targets via cold calling.
  • Identify, assess and report opportunities for growth and development via new customers, new routes and new services.
  • Good telephone manner.
