We’re supporting a respected freight company in Manchester that’s continuing to expand and is now searching for a proactive Freight Forwarder to strengthen their operations team. What You’ll Be Doing

• Take responsibility for coordinating international freight movements and ensuring every shipment runs smoothly from collection to final delivery. Your day will include:
• Managing import and export moves across air, sea, or road
• Planning transport, collections, and onward deliveries
• Communicating with customers, carriers, and overseas partners
• Preparing customs documentation and handling clearances
• Tracking cargo, issuing updates, and keeping files compliant
• Completing invoicing and supporting general operations

What You’ll Bring

• At least 2 years’ experience within UK freight forwarding
• Strong understanding of customs processes
• Experience using freight systems (Cargowise, Multifreight, or similar)
• Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills
• A hands-on, customer-focused approach
