About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident Freight Operations Manager to lead our dynamic logistics operation. This leadership position is ideal for someone with a strong background in European Road Freight and hands-on warehousing experience .
You will oversee a team of approximately 30 staff across Road Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs , and Warehouse Operations , ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 30+ across multiple logistics functions.
- Oversee end-to-end European Road Freight operations.
- Drive efficiency and performance in warehousing and customs processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain compliance with relevant transport, customs, and safety regulations.
- Foster a high-performance culture through clear communication and hands-on leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in European Road Freight operations.
- Hands-on experience in warehouse management .
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Ability to navigate the challenges of a fast-paced logistics environment.
