This role offers genuine autonomy, allowing you to oversee overland shipments from the initial booking stage straight through to final destination delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Road Freight Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of European road export trailers, managing groupage, part-load, and full-load (FTL/LTL) movements.
- Carrier & Haulier Liaison: Coordinate daily with domestic and continental transport providers, negotiating rates and securing vehicle capacity.
- Customs Compliance: Produce and manage accurate export documentation, including transit forms (T-forms), CMRs, and customs declarations post-Brexit.
- Account Management: Serve as the direct point of contact for clients, delivering proactive transit updates, resolving route delays, and providing exceptional service.
- Financial Control: Manage job costing, maximize trailer profitability, and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.
