We’re working with a well-established freight forwarder near Bagshot that is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to manage both import and export air freight operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in air freight who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
The Role:
- Handling end-to-end air freight import and export operations
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customs, and clients
- Preparing and managing documentation including AWBs, customs entries, and pre-alerts
- Providing excellent customer service and keeping clients informed throughout the shipment process
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years' UK air freight forwarding experience (import and export)
- Knowledge of customs procedures and systems (CDS)
- Ability to manage shipments independently from start to finish
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience using freight forwarding software is an advantage
