Overview
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarder who is looking to add an Air Import Operator to their team. This is a start-to-finish air import role, handling shipments from arrival through to final delivery and billing, working closely with airlines, overseas agents, hauliers, and UK customers.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end air import operations
- Monitoring flight arrivals and import milestones
- Customs clearance and import documentation
- Liaising with airlines, overseas offices, hauliers, and customers
- Arranging UK deliveries and managing exceptions
- Accurate job costing and invoicing
- Maintaining system records and general import administration
