Overview

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarder who is looking to add an Air Import Operator to their team. This is a start-to-finish air import role, handling shipments from arrival through to final delivery and billing, working closely with airlines, overseas agents, hauliers, and UK customers.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end air import operations
  • Monitoring flight arrivals and import milestones
  • Customs clearance and import documentation
  • Liaising with airlines, overseas offices, hauliers, and customers
  • Arranging UK deliveries and managing exceptions
  • Accurate job costing and invoicing
  • Maintaining system records and general import administration

Qualifications

  • Proven air freight import experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
