The predicted salary is between 20800 - 34800 £ per year.
You will be responsible for conducting environmental sampling and monitoring activities across the UK, supporting our diverse customer base from private households to landfill sites. You will be driving a temperature-controlled refrigerated van to and from sampling locations and ensuring samples are returned promptly to our Coventry laboratory via drop-off courier points.
This is a field-based role that requires travel and working outdoors in all weather conditions. On occasion, you will provide weekend cover for drinking water sampling on a rotational standby basis (additional pay applies).

The day to day:
- Undertake sampling of:
- Groundwater and surface water
- Trade effluent and wastewater
- Potable (drinking) water
- Gas, dust, and legionella
The Essentials:
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- An effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willing to travel and occasionally stay overnight if required
- Experience working within Health & Safety or Quality Management Systems
- Environmental monitoring experience is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided
