About the Role:
- Lead method development projects from conception to UKAS accreditation, ensuring compliance with ISO17025.
- Work with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Sales to deliver expert support.
- Investigate and resolve method issues, preventing impact on routine work.
- Support third‑party surveillance visits, audits and the accreditation programme.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovative solutions and deliver training to team members.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related discipline with knowledge of metals, anions, suspended solids, pH and alkalinity.
- Proven laboratory experience in method development and validation to ISO17025, including hands‑on ICP and anion instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot instruments and evaluate validation data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage across teams.
- Highly organised with attention to detail, prioritisation ability and accurate record‑keeping.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused, strong problem‑solving skills and good IT competence.
