About the Position

  • Department: Field Services
  • Location: Coventry
  • Hours per week: 37
  • Days per week: Mon-Fri (plus weekend / Bank Holiday standby on rota basis where required). Weekend on call may be a future requirement.
  • Basis: Full Time & Fixed Term (until June 2027)
  • Annual Salary Range: £29,329.80 - £34,329.80

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, managing sampling and analysis activity in line with contractual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and annual sampling plans, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate workloads across Sampling Technicians and Project Management support staff.
  • Monitor sampling performance, reschedule missed events and manage sample notifications.
  • Maintain site information packs, risk assessments and procedural documentation in line with UKAS and Quality requirements.
  • Produce KPI reports and support regular client review meetings.
  • Collate monthly data and generate invoices for client billing.
  • Support induction planning for new starters and provide departmental cover when required.
  • Work closely with the Field Services Manager and Project Managers to ensure an efficient and consistent service.
  • Respond to urgent or ad hoc sampling requests when required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional and positive approach with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using IT systems and analysing operational data.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Previous project, coordination or account management experience.
  • Experience working within Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
  • Environmental monitoring experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
  • Ability to obtain satisfactory security clearance.
