- Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements.
- Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all processes, procedures, and legislation.
- Deliver on key performance indicators.
- Report and understand analytical data.
- Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening.
- Assist team members to achieve work objectives.
- Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to Grade 4) or above, including Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
- Applicants must also hold an A level, or an equivalent qualification, in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn.
- Client‑focused approach with a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to plan and organise own work area.
