About the Role:
An elite international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its high-performing Debt Finance team in Hong Kong. This is a rare opportunity for London-based lawyers to relocate and work on cutting-edge cross-border finance transactions in one of Asia’s most dynamic financial hubs.
You’ll be advising a global client base—including leading financial institutions, funds, corporates, and sponsors—on a wide range of financing matters, including:
- Leveraged and acquisition finance
- Syndicated and bilateral loans
- Margin lending
- Convertible and exchangeable instruments
- Asset and real estate finance
This role offers exposure to complex, high-value deals and the chance to work closely with a collaborative partner group known for their market-leading expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in lender-side debt finance at a top-tier or well-regarded law firm
- UK qualification or other common law jurisdiction
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- A proactive, dependable approach and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Interest in relocating to Hong Kong and joining a globally integrated team
