We are looking for three Operational Excellence Coordinators to join our teams in Coventry, Hawarden and Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive continuous improvement across our operations by translating group strategy into practical, day-to-day improvements at site level. In this role, you will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity, streamline processes and support the implementation of automation and digital tools. You will help build a culture where ideas are encouraged and improvements are embedded in everyday work. If you have an analytical mindset and enjoy understanding how processes work, this role could be a great fit. Experience in production environments or with Lean principles would be particularly beneficial, but most important is your curiosity, problem-solving approach and enthusiasm for improving how things work.
Locations: Coventry, Hawarden and Wakefield
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent
The Day to Day
- Analyse site workflows and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
- Support and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and improvement workshops
- Monitor productivity and performance through dashboards and reporting tools
- Support the implementation of automation and digital solutions
- Encourage and promote colleague-led improvement ideas and engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with teams across sites to share best practice and track improvements
The Essentials
- Experience in continuous improvement, operational support, or similar environments
- Analytical mindset with confidence working with data and performance metrics
- Understanding of Lean principles or productivity improvement approaches
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and implementing improvements
- Degree or equivalent experience in operations, engineering, science, or a related field
