We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support the delivery of environmental sampling and analysis services for key clients across the UK. Acting as the main point of contact between clients and Field Services, you will coordinate sampling activities, manage schedules and resources, monitor performance and help ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery.
This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills, a professional approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Day to Day
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients, managing sampling and analysis activity in line with contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain monthly and annual sampling plans, ensuring targets are achieved.
- Coordinate workloads across Sampling Technicians and Project Management support staff.
- Monitor sampling performance, reschedule missed events and manage sample notifications.
- Maintain site information packs, risk assessments and procedural documentation in line with UKAS and Quality requirements.
- Produce KPI reports and support regular client review meetings.
- Collate monthly data and generate invoices for client billing.
- Support induction planning for new starters and provide departmental cover when required.
- Work closely with the Field Services Manager and Project Managers to ensure an efficient and consistent service.
- Respond to urgent or ad hoc sampling requests when required.
The Essentials
- Professional and positive approach with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using IT systems and analysing operational data.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Previous project, coordination or account management experience.
- Experience working within Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Environmental monitoring experience beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
- Ability to obtain satisfactory security clearance.
