ALS Laboratories are looking for an Administration Assistant to support their Customer Service department at ALS Coventry. As an Administration Assistant you will be required to pre-register samples for customers, arrange collections and deliveries and fulfil customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Ideally you will have worked in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment that requires meticulous attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.
Hours Per Week: 37
Days per Week: Monday to Friday
Basis: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,879
The Day to Day:
- Scanning and filing of documents
- Inputting and maintaining data utilizing Excel
- Booking sample collections and bottle deliveries
- Respond to inquiries and deliver appropriate information or refer to appropriate function or people
- Review and report anomalies to customers
- Answering calls
- Provide support functions for Customer Services
- Aiding with the reporting of results
- Raising credit notes and manual invoices for Customer Services
- Ad hoc duties as required to ensure that the business directives are met
The Essentials:
- Contributes to the establishment of best practices for customer support
- Flexible approach to work supporting and backfilling other team members when appropriate
- Office administrative experience ideally within a commercial organisation
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills both written & verbally
- Experience with working with various IT systems including MS Office
