Alps Electrical Ltd are one of the highest-rated renewable energy installers in the North East, specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Electrical Services. Due to continued growth and a huge volume of active enquiries, we are looking for an ambitious, organised and personable Customer Conversion & Sales Manager to help us maximise opportunities, improve customer experience and convert more enquiries into completed installations. This is NOT a cold-calling sales role. We are looking for someone who understands people, builds trust naturally, follows up professionally and genuinely enjoys helping customers make informed decisions. You will work closely with our directors and installation teams to help drive the next stage of growth for the business.
The Role
This is a hybrid role involving both office-based work and visiting customers at their homes and businesses across the region. You will be responsible for:
- Managing and nurturing warm leads and existing quotations
- Following up with customers considering solar and battery installations
- Visiting potential customers to discuss their requirements and help guide them through the process
- Booking and organising site surveys
- Helping customers understand system options, savings and benefits
- Supporting customers through the decision-making process
- Helping improve quote conversion rates
- Organising customer follow-up campaigns and referral initiatives
- Assisting with local marketing events and community engagement
- Working alongside management to improve sales processes and customer experience
- Identifying new opportunities within our existing customer base
- Helping generate additional revenue opportunities from EV charger and electrical customers
- Building long-term relationships and maintaining Alps Electrical’s excellent reputation
The ideal candidate will be confident both in an office environment and meeting customers face-to-face, with the ability to build trust and create a positive customer experience from first enquiry through to installation.

- Has previous experience in sales, customer relationship management or business development

Experience within solar, renewables, electrical or construction industries would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
