Warehouse Team Leader

Ensure control of production movements on a day-to-day basis through to warehouse storage and distribution. Formulate and implement improvements within the Warehouse and to agree and maintain measurable stock levels per product at the site.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for accurate recording of warehouse data and system reporting.
• Keep good communication with logistics company.
• Present shift data, analyse and hold daily shift reviews with warehouse staff.
• Ensure quality and hygiene standards are always maintained to internal and external accepted standards.
• Investigate root causes of customer/supplier complaints using problem solving techniques.
• Ensure the company health and safety policy is adhered to in the plant.
• Ensure the housekeeping is to agreed standards.
• Work with training matrix to ensure a multi-skilled team, ensuring that all staff are trained to carry out their duties.
• Support Warehouse team by carrying out warehouse duties as and when required.
• Support the site by assisting any department if required.

Qualifications

• Experience within a fast paced warehousing environment, familiar with processes and warehousing systems.
• Team lead experience – able to identify training requirements.
• Strong understanding of H&S requirements within a fast paced warehousing environment.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Adaptable and approachable.
• Valid FLT License.

• Salary up to £30,000 (dependant on experience).
• Monday to Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm – 6am) rotating shift pattern.
