The Role: Shift Support Engineer
We are looking for a motivated Shift Support Engineer to work alongside the Shift Engineer in supporting all aspects of plant, facility, and asset maintenance. This role plays a key part in driving Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity. You will receive full company training and guidance, with the opportunity to develop into a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Shift Engineer to ensure production equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
- Respond to machine breakdowns and support root cause analysis (RCA).
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained preferred.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline is essential.
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
- Experience with computer-controlled systems is beneficial.
